Springfield Lumber builds new pallets, skids, and crates. We chop and resaw boards and cants at 202 Day St, West Springfield. We do not repair, recycle, remanufacture, or run a pallet pool.

What you get

New wood, spec’d to the load. Stringer or block. 2-way or 4-way. Heat-treat (NeLMA ISPM 15) if the job exports. Same plant builds the crate and cuts industrial lumber when the job needs them.

Used and reman

Used and reman decks are a different shop. We do not buy them back, sort them, or put a new board on an old one. If you need a new deck, we build it. If you need a used one, that is not us.

When new is the right call

Export. Food, pharma, or a customer that will not take a used stamp. A load that needs a known board and a known rating. A crate around a finished part. That is the work we take.
